We were approached by a client who came to us from Private Investigator in Sheffield UK with concerns that the domestic helper that they had had in their employment for the past three months had been stealing from them. After noticing that several small but valuable items had gone missing from the home she shared with her family the client became conscious of the individual’s presence.

The investigation began with a consultation session between the client and a member of our operative team who established the reasons for the client’s suspicions of her staff and descriptions of the items that had been removed from the property. With these details in mind and with the client’s permission a member of our operative installed a network of hidden cameras within the property belonging to the client which would allow us to monitor the activities of the target when her employers were out. Though the first day of surveillance returned no suspicious or incriminating results the second day produced evidence that depicted the individual first rummaging through the private possessions of the client and her daughter and then taking several small items of value.

We presented the client with a full report that included both video and photographic evidence of the results obtained from the case and as a result the individual was removed from their employment and they are now in the process of trying to find a replacement to continue with the service. The majority of the stolen goods were also returned to the client and they took no legal action against her.
