A call came in to Sheffield Private Detective from a married lady who had been in a relationship with a married man. When they were together they had had an amazing physical and emotional bond. They have been communicating only (not meeting) for past year. She has told him that she no longer wants to continue the relationship if she cannot have him properly and he is claiming to be devastated and that he would leave his wife if she wanted him to. She needs to see that he is affected by the split in the way that he is saying and not going about his normal business unaffected and happy with his wife. She hopes she has not been used.

We suggested that we could make covert enquiries and if necessary carry out a period of surveillance on the couple. Our investigation team were able to establish a fake friendship on Face book where recent photos of the couple were found of them enjoying each other’s company in an affectionate way together with happy chatty banter between them on their time lines. There did not seem to be any evidence to suggest any discord in their relationship.

Our client was very upset and humiliated that she had been lied to in such a manner and did not feel the need for further investigation.
