A client approached us at Investigator Agency Sheffield regarding the infidelity of his girlfriend of eighteen months. After going through her phone messages the client knew that his partner had been seeing another man for some time but had not told her his knowledge of her infidelities. Before confronting the individual about her activities the client wished to know the full extent of her relationship with the man identified.
As the client knew the identity of the man in question this aspect of the investigation was fairly straightforward and the case proceeded with surveillance of this target and the partner of the client. This seemingly straightforward case however took an unexpected turn when the client’s girlfriend entered the vehicle of a man other than the suspected individual and proceeded to greet him with a familiar intimacy. Once this evidence was presented to the client he was able to identify the male partner as another of his close personal friends. The client requested that the extent of this relationship be confirmed with surveillance. Again this session had unexpected results as it was the individual the client had expected to see on the first occasion who came to meet his girlfriend.
Further sessions of surveillance confirmed that the partner of the client had been in a relationship with both men for a significant period of time and appeared to have no intention of ending any of the three relationships. After the investigation was concluded the client presented the findings to his girlfriend and ended the relationship.
